This is simple app that allows you to calculate BMI (body mass index) and BAI (body adiposity index)The body mass index (BMI), or Quetelet index, is a value derived from the mass (weight) and height of an individual. The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is universally expressed in units of kg/m2, resulting from weight in kilograms and height in metres.
The body adiposity index (BAI) is a method of measuring the amount of body fat in humans. The BAI is calculated without using body weight, unlike the body mass index (BMI). Instead, it uses the size of the hips compared to the person's height.
Based on population studies, the BAI is approximately equal to the percentage of body fat for adult men and women of differing ethnicities.
